I snapped this photo in the winter of 2006/2007. I was in Kulti, West Bengal - my father’s hometown. I’m posting this in response to anybody who implies or assumes that all Indian women are weak physically, emotionally, or in any other way.
South Asian women are not raised in a world that allows them/us to be “weak.”
